I used to make things look good.
Now I make them work.
(and look good)

I don't believe brands are built by posting more, hustling harder, or showing up to one more market. A brand is what makes someone pick your product off a shelf full of options before they've ever tried it. It's the reason a customer comes back without a coupon code. It's the thing that sells when you're not in the room.

For the past eight years, I've helped product brands figure out what that thing is and build it on purpose. Not by guessing, not by following whatever's trending, but by looking at the whole business and finding what's actually in the way.

My background is in design, but my obsession is what makes a product brand actually grow. Why some brands with average products outsell brands with incredible ones. Why some founders stay stuck at the same revenue for years while others break through. The answer is almost never the product. It's everything around it, the brand, the systems, the story, the way it all connects.

That way of thinking has taken me from designing for brands like Sun Day Red, Cole Haan, and Western Rise to working directly with founders building their businesses from scratch. Different scale, same instinct. Find the real problem, fix the right thing first.

I started 1110 Design because I watched too many talented founders pour everything into their product and nothing into the system that sells it. They'd show up every Saturday, grind it out, go home, and start over. Great product, no infrastructure. I wanted to help fix that.

Today I work as a growth partner for founder-led product brands. I diagnose what's blocking growth and prescribe the move that'll actually drive revenue, whether that's email, a website, packaging, a full brand overhaul, or something they hadn't considered yet. The deliverable changes every time. The way I think doesn't.

I'm based in Charleston, SC. I'm a dad, husband. I drink too much coffee, love visiting Japan, loud music and traveling.
And I genuinely believe that most product brands are one or two moves away from a completely different business. They just can't see it from the inside.

That's what I'm here for.

I've also worked outside CPG entirely. Tax agencies, finance brands, construction. Different industries, same underlying job: look at the whole business, find the actual bottleneck, build what removes it. Get your time back and start building a business you enjoy.

Some of the names along the way.

I've also spent years designing for major apparel brands - including Sun Day Red (Tiger Woods), Cole Haan, Western Rise, and Demerbox (Zac Brown), plus design work for Bam Margera’s FFU and a handful of musicians building their own labels.

Different scale, same instinct: figure out what the brand actually needs, then build it.
